Another thing that didn't work as I expected in version 90.0 was grub. After booting the cd and getting the root prompt I ran grub manually, telling it my root, kernel, and initrd and then invoking boot. Nothing, other than grub exited and I was back at the root prompt.
The grub commands I used work fine from a grub floppy and from the installation on the hard drive. It would be nice if they worked in finnix.
